1. The waiting list
Join the list and we keep your email address for one thing, telling you when the app is out. One message, maybe a second if the date moves. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and the list is deleted within 30 days of launch. Email us any time to be removed sooner.
2. This website
The site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts. The contact form sends us your name, email and message so we can reply, nothing else.
3. What the app will collect
Your account. A display name, and an email address if you sign up. Guests play with a display name only.
Your rooms. Room codes, who sat in the room, and what happened in the game, kept for the length of the game and for 30 days after so the logs keep working, then deleted.
Your plan. Whether you hold a paid plan and when it renews. Payments run through the App Store or Google Play, we never see your card.
Your device. Crash reports and basic device details, phone model, system version, app version, so we can fix what breaks.
4. Cam and mic
Video and audio go live to the players in your room and nowhere else. We do not record, store or watch streams. Your cam and mic stay off until you turn them on, and turning them off ends the stream that second.
5. What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not run ad trackers or share your details with advertisers. We do not use anything you say or show in a room to train anything.
6. Who else sees it
Two kinds of helpers handle data for us, the hosting that runs our servers and the service that collects crash reports. Both may only use it to do that job for us.
7. Age
Imposter Lobby is for players 16 and older. If you think a younger person has joined the list or holds an account, tell us and we delete it.
8. Your choices
Email us to leave the list, to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or to have it all deleted. Deletion happens within 7 days, copies arrive within 30. In the app you will be able to do both from Settings.
9. Changes and contact
